Holland Hauenstein, a Nevada native, has joined the Davis Brown Law Firm in Des Moines as a summer associate.

Hauenstein received her bachelor’s degree in biology and English from Grinnell College. After graduation, she interned in Washington, D.C., as an International Trade Policy Intern for the National Pork Producers Council. She worked as a lab/field assistant at Iowa State University for a year before beginning her M.S. at Purdue University. While at Purdue, Holland studied agronomy in the Interdisciplinary Ecological Science and Engineering Program, and authored a thesis on cover crops and soil health.

Now a student at the University of Iowa College of Law, Holland focuses on intellectual property law.
