Tickets are available for the 2013 Story Medical Gala – Masquerade Ball, taking place at Gates Hall in Nevada on Oct. 12 at 6 p.m. This year the Foundation is raising funds for Senior Care.

"The Story County Medical Center Endowment Foundation counts on our generous individuals and businesses to benefit Story County Medical Center," said Mark Cahill, foundation president. "One of our most well-known giving opportunities is our gala, held every other year."

In 2011, "Some Like it Hot PINK!" raised over $20,000 to contribute to the growth and sustainability of women’s health services in Story County. These funds allowed Story Medical to purchase equipment needed to offer women’s health clinics at Story Medical, provided by Doran Clinic for Women.

"Proceeds from the 2013 Masquerade Ball will go toward the improvement of Story Medical Senior Care programs and services," said Tim Ahlers, CEO. "Our commitment to senior care in Story County is stronger than ever, and the community’s support will help ensure we can continue to provide the best care for years to come."

The Masquerade Ball will be a fun-filled night of great food, entertainment and silent and live auctions. Masquerade attire is encouraged. For tickets, contact Tiffany Wingert at 515-382-7709, or twingert@storymedical.org.
