The Country Pioneers 4-H Club held its annual potluck on Nov. 10 in the basement of St. Mary’s Church. The potluck started at 5 p.m.
The meeting was called to order at 5:48 p.m. by Zach Jamison. The pledge of allegiance was led by Jack McKinney. The secretary’s report was read by Allison Geisinger. Jack McKinney moved to approve the report and Grace Stalzer seconded the motion.
The treasurer’s report was read by Jeffry Henze. Jack McKinney moved to approve the report and was seconded by Kenny Cutler.
Unfinished business was telling the club how our advertisement went for National 4-H Week. The Country Pioneers won the first place prize.
New business was the installation of the new officers as follows: President - Jeffry Henze; Vice President - Steven Cutler; Secretary - Morgan McEnany; Treasurer - Grace Stalzer; Reporter - Isabel Buchanan; Historian - Emma Stalzer and Photographer - Jack McKinney. Then, Daniel Henze moved to approve a payment, which received a second from Sam McKinney.
Leader’s report was to remember to re-enroll online and pay at the Extension Office. The club then discussed our December meeting and whether we would have a gift exchange. Zach Jamison moved to have a gift exchange, which was seconded by Kenzy Niemeyer.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:08 p.m. Morgan McEnany moved to adjourn the meeting and Emma Stalzer seconded the motion. The 4-H Pledge was led by Bryce Niemeyer.
