Let me give you a couple reminders about our summer schedule. The “walk” and Yoga classes, which met on Tuesday and Friday, have been discontinued for the summer, but we have started a Chair Yoga class on Friday mornings at 9. We have met for a few weeks and have had about 15 participants. The class is free and we have plenty of room for more participants — men or women because we have both.


We are also going to continue to offer an 11:30 meal at the Center this summer. We have been getting our meals from the high school, but during the summer months the food will be prepared at the elementary school. I would encourage more of you to take advantage of this quick and easy way to get your noon meal. The cost is only $4 for a complete meal, including milk. We often have a small salad or fruit to take home to add to an evening meal. Remember to let us know the day before that you would like to eat with us by calling, 382-1380.


NEW ACTIVITY: We ladies discussed adding another women’s coffee time in the afternoon. (Our morning coffee is Wednesday at 9). So, let’s give that a try by starting on Monday, June 4 at 2 p.m. The time may change at little, but the day will likely stay the same. Anyone who can make it to the Center is most welcome.
