So . . after paying $4,000 in property taxes on my home last year . . and seeing those taxes increase every year since I have arrived . . . and not having children in school . . . my options are limited. As much as I would hate to leave our wonderful dwelling . . . I am beginning to think it may soon become a reality. Count me as one person who is tired of pulling the "property tax" wagon . . while others ride. As Margarette Thatcher once said, "socialism is great until you run out of other people's money." Frankly, spending other people's money is epidemic in our country. I voted against this project. From what I've seen of him at school, he seems to be ok. My kids go to nevada school, but I think it is very important to have POSITIVE role models for all the kids at school. What does it say to the kids when they have a teacher who keeps getting arrested for going into peoples homes without permission?? My son came home telling me all about this, like it was nothing. I don't like that. Kids should think and know that it is a very serious matter to do these kinds of things. Well….I don’t know the guy personally.
