Irish dancers all over the country spend St. Patrick’s Day celebrating by giving back to their communities. The Irish Performance Team from the Robert Thomas Dancenter celebrated by performing at The Waterford of Ames, Westhaven Community and Eastern Star Masonic Home in Boone, and Green Hills in Ames on March 16. On St. Patrick’s Day, they had three performances at Dublin Bay Irish Pub & Grill in Ames. The team is comprised of dancers from the Ames, Ballard, Gilbert, Nevada and Roland-Story school districts, as well as Iowa State University. Dances were choreographed by Frankie Feldmeir (lead instructor), and Madaline Patton (instructor). Contributed photo
